Raffles Hotel
Built in 1887, the famed Raffles Hotel was the first modern building to have electricity in Singapore. Well known for its six-star accommodations and fancy restaurants and shops, the hotel also houses a Victorian-style theatre and a tropical garden courtyard.

Residence of Tan Teng Niah
This house was built in 1900 is one of the last surviving Chinese Villas in Little India owned by Tan Teng Niah. The villa has been restored and is currently used by Yoga Therapy Centre Singapore.
