As sketchers, I suppose we are all experimenting with different pens and I came across a few blog/websites which shows other pen shops in Singapore beside the usual ones most of us go to .
Like an old pen shop at Upper cross street etc.
Take a look and maybe we can go for a pen urban sketch day;)
Always good to check out new pens to try
They sell hero pens at punggol plaza too and Mustafa

People in Transit
Student reading his notes.I travelled often by bus and train and I use this opportunity to practise
portrait sketching. It can be quite quite nerve wrecking at times. This may happen when the bus jerks to a stop, or the passenger you are sketching alights when you are half way through or other boarding passengers blocks the view. It is quite a relief when I can finish a sketch without mishaps.

Sunday Outing @ Galleries
I decided to change my Sunday routine and just go and look at art. Sketched the lobby of the Lim Hak Tai gallery at NAFA whilst waiting for it to open, to view an exhibition of ceramic works by the late Ng Eng Teng.I am overcome by nostalgia re looking at his art. I sketched some of his works at the bottom of the drawing, but these were from another of his exhibition at the NUS Cultural Centre, which I visited later in the day All in, I visited 5 art exhibitions last Sunday, and returned home - spirits nourished and uplifted.

Food & Sketching
Whether it is lunch time or dinner, it is always fun to sketch where and what you eat, or maybe how you eat, since we, as Singaporeans are always eating 24/7.
Above sketch was made during a food spree at Jumbo last Friday. We bought our Hong Kong friend to have sea food and the must have was Chili Crab. However we were pretty disappointed because after so many talked about Jumbo, we didn't find it at all good! It's over rated.
The bottom was made before our food arrived. We were at Brewerks, a German brewery at Clarke Quay. So it was a eating, drinking and sketching spree. It was also football night so everyone was cheering all at the same time.
For dinner we had Buffalo wings and potato skins. No drawing for these.
