Shop House

This old shop house is actually located at Ceylon street cor. East coast Rd. I’m always fascinated with the way old shop houses were designed. I will go back to this place to sketch more on the missing details i.e beams, post, window grills, etc.

View of Temasek Poly main gate 6 floors above. We rarely have a chance to use the open walkway joining lobby d and c but when we do, the scenario is totally breathtaking. Almost an hour sketch to visualized the feeling.

east coast park

I was inspired by the tranquility and athmosphere of east coast park on one sunny wednesday afternoon.

This sketch was a product of a couple of kopi from komalas.

Location: Komalas restaurant, open space facing the beach park.

Inspiration: afternoon heat by the beach.
