Marina Bay Sands

Marina Bay Sands under construction. 150mm x 210mm. Pigment ink sketch, watercolours and Copic markers. I sat at the steps near one of the outdoor arenas at the Esplanade and drew this one evening. The ink linework had to be reinforced later at home as the lack of light had made it difficult to see my sketchpad. The sheer amount of detail was challenging to say the least. As I live for details and linework, I had wanted to capture as much as I could.
