Old black Kuretake calligraphy marker + wash.
I drew this while standing in the long queue for a plate of fried kway teow. The cook at this stall at Ghim Moh hawker centre was once crowned the fried kway teow king on one of the tv channels. I got this from looking at the photos pasted on this stall front. His Fried kway teow is more of the wet kind. While drawing this, I could hear a man behind me whispering to an elderly lady, "he's an artist." I pretended not to hear and kept drawing. Ballpoint + Kuretake calligraphy marker

Beautiful banner at your site as well, I am reminded of some wall paintings by the Mexican artist, Diego Rivera, such as
this one http://EN.WahooArt.com/A55A04/
